Chrise - Have just noticed a line: ''5 clues share a missing definition (6 if you include 11 across)

For 1 across I guessed ''DOCTORS'' I think it is correct.
But that gives me another problem: 11 across is ''after reconstruction, supply home for 1 across'' (10)
That gave me: T - L - P - E - U -
That appears unsolvable!

In that case I was thinking 1A might be…

…and leads to Polyphemus* for 11a, so I think it’s correct.

The Oldie is usually the easiest of all the cryptic crosswords I do, but this one was a real humdinger.
