Stymie? I can't see where 'green strategy' comes into it, the clue doesn't seem to need it.

Astound?

7d Insatiable desire to have browser - Google's first up (5)
Greed?

stymie is originally a golf term. you used to be able to leave your ball between the opponents ball and the hole on the GREEN (no longer allowed)

deer is the browser (not internet!), with initial from Google

37 As To, regarding (F)und, reserve

Thank you Malone, didn't know the golf term, or that deer browsed (I'd have said grazed, but I'm no expert).
