28a Sharp cry of Dubliner? (4), 4d Egyptian God has shown strain, wiping brow (5), and 5d Small boat at the same time capsized (3). The answers look like Keen, Horus and Tub, but I need help parsing them.

4d is (C)Horus.

5d The setter is indicating "at the same time", as "but" reversed to "tub", a small boat.

to keen is to cry in some dialects. i didn't think it was particularly irish, though.

Thanks Rusty and Chrise. I knew keen could mean cry, but couldn't see an Irish connection. I also realised tub could be a boat.

Apparently, "keen" derives from the Irish Gaelic word "caoine", meaning lament.

Last one! 6d - I've got S_ E _L_I_H and fairly sure what the answer is but can't see why. Anyone put me out of my misery, please? Thanks.

I've tracked down the clue...
Drunk sounding mean - something in cocktail? (9)
Shellfish, something in cocktail (prawn cocktail, seafood cocktail etc)
A drunk would slur his words, so Selfish, mean, would be Shelfish.

Malone many thanks! I’d (sort of) worked out that the answer involved the way a drunk talks but assumed it was the “ish” on the end. Sorry about not putting the clue - this was my first posting on this forum!
