This could be very wrong... Revels?!

The thought had occurred to me, but I can only find the usual definition for revels and nothing to do with drinks specifically

“Juleps” would fit the definition, but the second letter would need to change.

That sounds promising, Jono. I'd be quite happy if the first E was changed, but we'll need to see what gave that.
