Many thanks to the select band of seven setters prepared to have another go at TOAST. They did well to pop up with some fresh ideas from the inexhaustible well of cryptic imagination.

From a short list of five I won't attempt to assign an order of merit to four of them. I enjoyed jono@5's 'to a t' for perfectly; darla@8's neat brevity 'Get heated on a street'; mattrom@20's 'Drink to the memory of a goner'; dorrien@13' borrowing 'Turn over' from PTO. (Thanks for maintaining the word list, dorrien. I did not know who wqs doing it).

My favourite, though, was mattrom@11's apposite
