Copy & paste of AJt's explanation in another thread

Actually it is an anagram of "laconicnarrationssorectified", plus c for constant, and minuse - ultimately mistake forgotten. All accounted for.

Merci bien - I had not realised that there had been another thread on this crossword.
I can see the elements now (since they are so ably and clearly laid out) but doubt that I'd've puzzled them out myself. Thank you again.

AJT, where are you when I need you ???

Folks, stuck on bottom right hand corner...
Central European at the far north or south ? (4)
_ E _ _

Please help, but, explain, not the actual answer, if at all possible.

Hi PezBuin - how nice to be missed! Actually Tony has given you the answer - Pole, so your e is wrong. Now how is that? 24ac - look at it again. Pool - When I was young I lived in London and used to go to the Ruislip ???? for bathing, etc. And two? two letter prefix.
Hope that helps.

AJT,

You have solved my weekend humdrums, before having to face the dreaded workplace for another week ! It simple now that I look at it again... I HAD DIVIDE, as in DIVE (Pool) and ID (Urge)... ho hum.

Thanks awfully. Yet again, another FAB Paul Cword !
Til next week, TTFN.
