PaulH, the clue I referenced was in the Guardian’s Quiptic by Pasquale.

Your clue reminded me of the Rufus clue “Two girls, one on each knee (8)” which I’ve always liked. In fact, Alan Connor (Everyman) used it as the title for a book.

I see Chambers thesaurus does not have synonyms for swagger in the sense of "mojo", ie confidence, pride, magnetism, etc. But that would be common usage over here.
