tyke, I use Firefox with Adblocker plus and it eliminates YouTube ads as well as ads on web pages. Even with no ad blocker there is usually a link at the bottom right of a video that allows you to skip ads after 5 seconds or so.

Buddy, many thanks - I like Chrome but Google are getting too greedy!
