Clue: Help to hold C sharp
Solution: Acid

I don't get it, could someone explain this please?

Help = AID goes around/"to hold" C = ACID = Sharp (as in taste)

Cool, thanks - still trying to get my head around some of the clues - there's another one:
"Sun fish's foul odour"
Hiven the letters already in place I concluded STENCH was the solution and it fits "foul odour" but what has " Sun fish" to do with the answer?

S = sun
Tench = fish
