50d has got us foxed.

Marshal's military order sent to the rear (5)

We have S_U_T.

Looks like SHUNT. Marshal's military order being 'SHUN, but that doesn't explain the T nor can we really work out what the definition is supposed to be.

'Shun, shirt for Attention is the order + T from the end of 'sent' (sent to the rear).

The military order is just SHUN, with the rear of senT.
MARSHAL as in a marshalling yard for goods trains.

An enjoyable Jumbo, but just wondering about these?
