Thanks, jono, and well done, baccy, especially getting two clues up there. I am glad the noun/adjective issue has been acknowledged. I did search inconstant as a noun, after all you can have a constant in mathematics, but perhaps not an inconstant, though the elite mathematicians on here may dig one up.
