Thank you all for such a great turnout. A womderful diversity of clues and to such a high level! Nearly every one had something to like so it's been a struggle to whittle them down. Genuinely.
However the ones that stood out for me the most were; Buddys intermittent training 4, Jimmys black-and-white 11, Jon's bijou Norwegian residence 12 and tweaked 14/31, Paul's deceptively straightforward 18, Chris's thesbian 21, Darla's 23 and Aristo's 24, Geekers 28, Mattrom's work-related 27 and perhaps remembering Matty's performance 30 (RIP).
I'll give the places as follows;

Bronze Jon tweaked 14; "Go climbing in the Savoy Alps"
Silver Mattrom 30 "Gambol and bark repeatedly, biting end of tail when rolled over"

Gold is going to Paul H 18 with

"Give dramatic performance".

A standing ovation Sir and here are your prizes tailored to your experience...

Nice challenge Paul. I didn’t envy you having to choose between those clues. Thanks for the bronze medal and congrats to PaulH… I particularly liked “give” as the definition.

Just checked in to see a nice surprise. I thought a more intricately constructed clue might triumph over the many possible double definitions, so was predicting a win for mattrom's canine effort. Thanks, paul, for your detailed adjudication and for the unusual clips. I hope I can feel inspired when starting off Clueless next Monday evening after three days of a Scrabble tournament. Twenty-five games, 25 minutes per player per game. I am ranked in Division C of A B and C. I would get absolutely nowhere against the Div A lot - it's a different world.
