Good day all, not finished yet, have not worked out the spoonerism. I also have my doubts on a few others - 13d, 19a. CoD for me is 10a and I enjoyed the rhyming pair a lot. I'll return to see if there's any help on 18d. Found it trickier than recent weeks.

Same for me Yevrah, didn't find this very satisfying, and stuck on the Spoonerism which is my last unsolved clue, assuming I have the others right - everything seemed a bit vague

18d - the Spooner version - 3 letters criticise, 4 letters agricultural establishment.

Found this a bit of a brute. Although, once the answers were in, it was clear that most of the clues were tough but fair - e.g. 13D and 19A. But COD 14A by a country mile.
The exception was 27A. 'Creature that eats'! Seriously? As opposed to a creature that doesn't eat?
Yevrah - try removing the brackets from the clue, which at least might clarify the definition.

Thanks Ianwil, I was coming round to that but had never heard of the actual answer and was put off by the Sponner answer and real answer having different spellings - don't know why! I agree with Phil10000 that 27a is very dodgy ☹️

phil10000 - I see your point, but this creature is known for the damage it causes by eating.

Tricky as ever but I finished without help from the forum. Last one in 13d which still has me puzzled - healthy?

I am struggling with 10a, 19a, 21a, 23a & 27a.

13, 20, 22 & 24d have also beaten me.

13d 5,1,4 - 5=think television 1 abbr for with 4 “ & hearty”
