Hi Klazo. Yes, I had an error in 7a. now corrected.

I cannot parse 7a even though it fits the def. wood, so I may be back.....

I know these Brewer’s themes aren’t universally popular but I quite enjoyed this one, though I needed the big book for a couple - particularly 34A where I wasn’t seeing the wood for the trees. (Nearly an unintentional anagram!)

Thanks Will37. I had not heard of him. Originally I thought it was a 'hidden' which is not really a wood but an area of land.

I should have taken Brewers from the bookshelf !

Hi, Klazo, is the spicy answer in Brewer's? I went for the bankrupt version.

For me , it was a ... tolerable puzzle. I'm tiring of the recycling and I'm never a big fan of the Brewer's, 'here's a list' themes.
