for some perverse reason liked Geeker 10 but was always going to vote for Jon 3 unless something very unusual turned up...

A landslide this week for jono 3, getting 5 of 8 possible votes. While it's not quite as impressive *ahem* as getting all the votes, it's still a fine accomplishment:

Contented sitting very softly amid the cut grass

Congrats jono and thanks to all for playing.

Prizes:

jono's clue put me in mind of the first line of this song:

This has not aged all that well; jump to 3:00 for the thematic payoff:

Congrats, Jono. I had your clue as my runner-up. If it hadn't been for the Who ... Speaking of "Who," the first of the prizes: đź‘Ź. Thanks for that, Buddy, and for the hosting overall. Thanks also to mattrom for the vote.

Many thanks Buddy for the challenge and the prizes. Thanks to the voters for the votes. It was a simple clue.
“Cut Grass” is a poem by Philip Larkin, though I wouldn’t say it evokes a sense of “happiness” :-)

Cheers all!
