Whoa (if the count was right). Thanks for the votes, Jimmy, geeker, spike, paulh, dorrien, and buddy, and for the prizes, paul. Do you think those fight fans got their money’s worth? I love the opening of Rear Window, although I can’t stand Grace Kelly with her obnoxious faux-patrician accent and terrible acting. Don’t Look Now is a favorite. The Thin Red Line is mentioned- a stunner, so beautifully filmed.

Paul, thanks for hosting, though I think I got 8 votes not 6 but think I can claim only bronze behind aristo 10, spikepunk 9. Possibly you overlooked variations on handles in the voting. I wish I had realised originally how rare it is to use one's full real name here. I am more than happy for people to shorten it. In fact, can Norah change it to PaulH? As I think I have mentioned before, I was accustomed to the English Chess Forum policy of real names being compulsory.
