Syzygy and Sunray, thanks very much. That was a nice little treat for a Saturday evening. I had to work backwards for a couple of the entries, but that only added to the enjoyment.

Thanks, syzygy and Sunray. This was a good one. Numbered clues went quickly, but took longer than expected to fill in the 4-letter words. Many nice clues with a few surprises.

Some of the four-letter words in the filled grid string together to form interesting longer words (or even phrases).

Yes, at least the 4-letter words weren't arranged just randomly.
