Nelson, now that you've got access to a copy, maybe you should ask for the post with your email to be removed? (If it's just a throwaway one, it's less necessary, of course!)

Oh dear what a struggle I am having with this one.

I have filled the grid as best I can. Trouble is, I am still a relative novice with puzzles like EV, so am not at all sure I have identified the moving words...change that, I am sure I have not identified all of the moving words .

in particular the words from 43a, 44a, and 46a.

Is the end game instruction biblical ? OT ?
Any other bones you can throw me ?

I suspect this one is shortly for the bin.....

Fred, you're definitely correct with your Biblical option. I initially went astray with the first word in the 'initial letters' stuff, the J... word is the less common name.

43 - the grandmother would be 'nan', so you need to drop an A, luckily there's a justifiable one in 42.

45. The answer is the exact opposite of a word near the beginning in 44.

Thanks, fred. I usually like to see the clues themselves in posts, but the thematic element in this would need explained...

If you manage to get just the first little bit of the message, Google comes up trumps - I've checked that now. The theme then becomes obvious. You need a name, a common abbreviation and then a six-letter number.

The task isn't as daunting as it might appear. You need to insert the ?????? ?? ?????? into the grid - but the end of the message is helpful, quite specific about where to look and what to do.
