Had a fair stab at this but one of my failings was 14d Each Celtic half-back getting furious . Answer is givne in 225 as APOPLECTIC
A POP ( each ) LEC TIC ( half of CELtic reversed ).
How does pop=each , please . Must be obvious as none of the commentators have picked up on it, but i can't see it .

“A pop” can mean each or apiece, as in things selling for “£1 a pop”

Of course. Thought it was something to do with a parent . Funny how sometimes you just can't see it.
