The second half of the clue is the wordplay. I have just checked a couple of sites and 'cheep' is shown as the answer in both

V pleased with myself, all done though a few I can't parse:

Electromagnate. Return = elect, traveller with grand = romag, but can't see the tax in the final letters, 'nate'.

38d Being full from day one, a vessel circling round (9)
Satiation.

Not a word I've ever used. 'day one, a' is 'satia' but how do we get 'tion' from 'vessel circling round?
