I really enjoyed this week's puzzle from "CheeseCracker". Very satisfying to complete- I was about 95% done with a couple of clues still to crack. I did the usual thing of putting it to one side whilst I had lunch then repaired a leaking bathroom sink. I find that such diversions tend to defog the brain, so I then went back to it and immediately grasped what the setter was looking for with 28A and 29D.
I also enjoyed this rather tricky Cheesecracker and have a full grid with all clues parsing well.
However the unclued Math/s is quite beyond me !
I was always better at languages
Yes, one of Cheesecracker's better efforts, I thought.
And thank you Jazzgirl for the recommendation - £6.33p has bought me a 1911 Chambers, including postage, and it is in rather better condition than my well-bashed 13th edition...
Oh my goodness, hounds. I hope it was another bargain.
I spotted an 1872 on ABE books yesterday and the price asked was £720.32 including postage, from USA !
