Have finished (or think I have!) but there's quite a few which I don't quite 'get'... or if I do, the clues seem very thin.

So...

I'm guessing it's PRIDE which is three lions, but how does the rest of it work?

!4A Cassius perhaps making love close to Nokia charger (7)

Cassius was a PRAETOR so I'm guessing that's the answer but again, how does the rest of it work?

27A Do one small cocaine hit (5)

S _ R _ M

SCRAM fits the subsidiary part of the clue but where's the definition?

2D Effect of spiked drink with bit of temazepam in it (3, 2)

S _ T, _ P

SET UP is SUP with t for temazepam in it, but where's the other E come from?

Any clarifications please?

14a. PLATTER, charger (a dish)
PLOTTER, Cassius, changing O for end of Noki(A)

6a- Chambers has one definition of "ride" as "to turn (test or grate on something)" so P RIDE

27a - "do one" is slang for "scram" or 'get lost' etc

2d - I think the "spiked" drink means it's got a drug in it so a tab of E?
