Very much enjoying reading all your clues - can Dorrien, or anyone help me with @18 please ? ...
Dash back after a relationship? You must have a point there(9)

I can see `a relation - (ship)` anagrammed but not fully understanding it.

I think dash is elan (reversed) and a relationship is a ratio

Many thanks to all who participated this week. Of the anagram clues I thought Buddy`s Aristotelian reference and Jono`s `on a retail spree` stood out. I liked Chrise, Mattrom and Paul`s (clever use of sake) beer - related clues - I`m happy to confirm I do not advocate prohibition - moderation possibly! I also liked Mathprof`s `winding lane` and Paul`s use of `elan` but ... (as jono explained) I thought Dorrien`s `dash back` device was even better.

This week`s Clueless Winner, then, is Dorrien with ...

Congrats Dorrien, I also liked ‘dash back’. Many thanks Tyke, I enjoy a Guinness but I doubt I’ll be trying that trick any time soon!

Congrats dorrien - my favourite too. Thanks tyke and for the mention - mine was the obvious one!
The pub clip reminded me of two of my favourite pub bets:
Drinking in jugs, "I bet I can push your pint through the handle of mine"
or, the best one:
"I bet you 10p I can drink your pint without touching the glass".
I'll leave you all to work out the outcomes!
