Please can someone parse 3d? I'm assuming it includes an anagram of dating but can't see where the other letters come from. Thanks

Mad, indignant. In = hot, n = 'and casually ( fish n chips, rock n roll) and anagram, inappropriately, of 'dating'.

PS It's always better to give the clue. many helpers don't have a copy.
