Sunday Express £1,000 Prize Crossword

29 down: "A thin, light, delicate or fibrous piece or strand, such as a wisp of smoke or lock of hair." (4)

It can surely only be WISP but that word appears in the clue so is it a compiler error?

Collins dictionary describes WISP as follows:

"a thin, light, delicate or fibrous piece or strand, such as a streak of smoke or lock of hair"

so the setter of this puzzle appears to have replaced the word "streak" with "wisp" in error
