Well done, paul! I thought it was a really good clue, hence the 2-point vote, and -no- I didn't make a count before voting 🤣...I only recently discovered how to display forum posts newest first, and with that feature enabled was unaware of prior votes.

My slight regret is not going full-on BBC with 4 by using a cruder inclusion indicator than "captured", but that seemed a bit too much.

Thanks to buddy for hosting and clips.

Nice one Paul - well done! Good challenge Buddy - double figures soon!
Thanks for the votes - some of you may not be familiar with Germaine Greer ... she was sexy and scary, both at the same time - here she is (eventually - stick with it!) answering the question `What do women want?` ...

Well done Paul!
Thanks Jono for welcoming me back, had a few problems, but had the brain reset and taking things easy.

Thanks everybody for the votes!
Cheers Buddy for the setting and for the casting vote. Commiserations Geeker.
Thanks for the prizes - interesting how many Westerners were in the orchestra as the Japanese tend to keep things fairly homogenous. Love a bit of Chuck! Still think that the level of originality and energy from the 50's and 60's has been rarely matched since (with honourable exceptions of course).

See you next week and bring some friends!

Hope Chris is OK as he normally announces it if he's taking time off.

Glad to see you back too, Jimmy. Nothing like a good clue composition session to clear your head.

Hey everyone. I often skip the weekend contests because I don't like to hold up the decision on Sundays, and I really don't like to get up early. However, this weekend I was just plain sick. Finally feeling better so I checked in here to see what was going on. Lots of great clues as usual, and Buddy showing off some rad math skills.

By the way, Chris seems to be fine. He's been posting in the Guardian Prize and Everyman threads. See you all tomorrow.

Glad to hear you haven’t disappeared down a math Olympiad hole in an irrational Darla! We were getting concerned by the rapidly dwindling numbers this week so good to fear ftom you. Sunday can be a challenge but the voting system is great - surely an 8 hour window allows you to vote at your leisure? Any how’s hope to see you regularly again…

Apologies, forgot to thank tyke, jimmy, spike, jono, mattrom and paul for votes.

Agreed participation numbers have been dwindling, but winter is winding down and Covid seems to be easing up [though alarmingly many people around here are still catching it], so perhaps people are spending more time away from home and/or computer? I generally prepare WPR votes on Saturday night for rapid posting prior to leaving for the day on Sunday morning.
