It's a tie at the top. One vote to come.

As much as I would like to dump the tie-breaking responsibility onto spike, I must vote my conscience and go with mattrom 10 (edging out jono 7)

That's it, folks.

Thanks to all for taking part, a good number of clues. Paul/Tyke - I may make up for my absence on WPR! Great clues, I thought that someone might have used 'Kylie', apparently a boomerang. Thanks for voting with your conscience, Buddy! It would have been tough to choose between the two.

Votes as follows:
1 vote: Geeker #8, Buddy #24, Aristo #34
Runner-up with 3 votes: Jono #31
The gold, with 4 votes, goes to Mattrom #10

Post-war generation nag untidy children living at home again?

Congratulations, Mattrom! Excellent clue.

I've just checked and he wasn't killed by being pulled through the bookcase, though he was knocked unconscious!

Well done Mattrom - hope we`re not forcing you to get up in the middle of the night to vote!
Thanks to Chrise & Geeker for mentions - trust the Chinese balloon gets popped by a missile of some sort!
Enjoyed the clips Spike - Charles Drake Esq worked hard for his laughs, in the days when TV was live ... with no bad language!

Congrats Mattrom and thanks Spike for the challenge and the clips. I would almost certainly have used ‘kylie’ if I’d known it. Cheers to Mattrom, Tyke and Dorrien for votes.
