Something with agent in rather than gentry sounds better to me. Some further thoughts are Crown Agent or Territorial being short for TA

I'm not doing this quiz ( just whiling away the hours between prize crosswords), so I'm not sure of the tone, but from some of the clues posted here, they don't always TOTALLY fit.

Answer seems to have been bypassed a few posts ago.

Thanks Terry I had come up with estate agent, like the undertaker idea but not sure about primary teacher. Any ideas about #40 fabulous mean to lead worker
