I can't see the misprints in the 2nd,4th and 8th clues but I understand most of the description. I have 22 bars as required and have shaded 56 cells using two colours. Not too sure if that is right.
I've shaded 60 cells using 3 colours (the ambiguity is dealt with in one area of the grid) but maths is my great weakness and I'm simply trying to interpret the minimum/maximum requirement in the preamble.

Gitto, if you google the name of the device and Wikifab you should find the name of the creator, and thence the misprints. It should be clear which 60 cells they must be, and as drxx alluded, the letters in the grid suggest part of the solution
