Knew 21d had to be based on AZURE - with Z gone I had AURINE, AURITE or AUREAN but couldn't get 'wee' meaning small out of my mind!!
Considered Hammond I..... as writer in 25ac but didn't know 'Scottish mothers' reference & missed the 'one enthralled' clue.
Agree 19d is dodgy - often a reference to cockney means dropping initial aitch (eg 'arrow for Harrow) - as you & Pendragon I've only heard of Happy as Larry but don't see where the cockney ref fits with that.
Anyway - thanks again; overall I enjoyed this crossword - good fun.

Could I have some help with 11a and 2d please?

11ac Definition is SHREW (ie type of shrew); GROUND is an anagram indicator; LAND empty = LD.

2d Def is STUCK; enclosure is where eg chickens may be kept.

thanks to taking a couple of hints from here I manged to get my head round most of this months. I have only 1 left which is 6d _a_i_t with S missing.
Can anyone give me a hint as I am getting very frustrated by this I think the definition is religious law but can't for life of me see an answer.
