High store clothing store = Gap (rev)
os = outsize

First island must be Mad a gas car

I’m guessing the first one is Pom peii;)

Can you help with
Welcoming island – except for mischievous cartographers. (8)

Must be Bar bad OS. Bar = except, bad = mischievous, OS = Ordnance Survey

Geogeiii, thanks for the info. I’ve amended the heading accordingly and put closing date in the first post.

I don’t usually chase up these things myself, I would be accused of being “the big heavy” and putting people off from using the Forum if I constantly nagged about headings being missing etc. However, I always amend if I see the correct details in the thread itself.
