Vizzle posted this query in another thread, I had to admit I had forgotten how to reorder the posts but Jazzgirl kindly solved the problem for us.

Vizzle said "Threads used to appear oldest-first, newest-last so one could read the initial post and scroll down to read the replies. They now appear the other way so one has to scroll to the bottom to see the initial post. Was this a policy decision and, if so, why? Is there a settings option to correct this? Thanks "

Jazzgirl replied "Vizzle, there is an option (Edit) next to where it says welcome Vizzle.

Click on "edit" and scroll down to the bottom where you can change the order

Thanks Norah and jazzgirl. That works! However, I only came across this post when looking for something else. Should I not get an email or other notification to say that someone has replied? Great site btw

Vizzle, as far as I am aware there is only the option to receive replies when you create a new thread, the option to tick for replies is under the posting box. Even though you posted the original query, I created this particular thread.

I had thought you might see the thread because of the heading, next time I do anything like this I will email the original poster.

Perhaps someone out there knows differently but I’ve just looked and can’t find any other option for receiving notifications.

Thanks for your kind words on the site.
