I have a full grid with the name and theme provided by the extra letters but am struggling to see what happens next, vis-a-vis the 27 cells and "front line" etc.

I've scanned his Wiki entry but nothing's jumped out at me!

Has anyone completed this yet?

I'm right where jogamel is; as relatively straightforward as the rest of the puzzle is, the last step seems a little GWIT-ty (I=Ifor in this case).

With the relevant work in front of me, there is a suggestion of what direction the lines must point (if the final grid is to resemble the work in any way), but there is also the possibility that the 7 lines are to form a word or words?

Hi Buddy, the d......s refers to 3 infamous characters named on the penultimate and last line of the first paragraph on Wiki page.

"...on his Wiki page".
