Great fun. Real pleasure for a relative newbie just to steam through it once in a while.

On the subject of the EVs - I gather that the puzzle website is still being difficult. So for those of you who don't get a paper copy, have a look at the Answerbank website where I'll try to post an image of the puzzle weekly.

I did think this might be a subtractive anagram but, when I subtract my answer from Islamist, I don't get a Greek letter but 'itas' - where am I going wrong?

I have a full grid and think I have got the song, but lots of grid staring is proving unproductive. Is the song ????’? In ?????, if so a gentle hint as to where to start with the highlighting would be appreciated.
