Please don't argue over the rights or wrongs of my question. It is not a quiz I am doing. I was asked by a relative if I could help. I do not know what quiz it is or it's rules.

It wasn't a comment on the rights or wrongs in my opinion it was part of the details of the quiz so we can agree to differ No point in having posting rules if some have to be adhered to but not the rest.

jazzgirl - I was not "commenting on the rights or wrongs of giving answers", I was simply stating a fact that the quiz is a no asking quiz. Which rule prohibits the stating of facts?

Keenquizzer, we have posting GUIDELINES rather than rules as I have neither the time nor the energy to pull up every infringement, if I did that it would mean I became a constant nagger and this would deter newcomers from staying with the Forum.

By and large the Guidelines are adhered to most of the time and I try and take a flexible approach.

Our heading is Crossword Solver site which is self explanatory and Item 6 covers our stance on paid for quizzes.

It’s a fact of life these days that people use the internet for answers. And trawling the internet surely means that the charities running quizzes gets more entries and therefore more funds in their coffers?
