Still no facility to print off the EV from the Telegraph's new "improved" website. So much for having a 'Digital Plus' subscription.

What are these people playing at, I wonder? If the EV is in the physical paper, there can surely be no great trouble to enable it to be printed off the website by subscribers.

I hope they fix it pronto. In the meanwhile, could any kind soul send me a scan? It would be gratefully and greatly appreciated!

Another great puzzle, and I will put aside my frustration it is not online.

One quick question the Wikipedia verse has blanks in 1a, but preamble says grid has only proper nouns or words, so I think I should be adding o, e to 1a?

I was puzzled by the same thing so I put the line with the full name into Google and got lots of hits from the likes of AZQuotes, Quotesfancy among others, so I opted for the full name.

I did think the missing T might add on to the end of "but", giving the first 3 letters but I have no idea how the rest is got?

bum + [be (remain) in (committed to) blee (colour, archaic)]

Brendan, my parsing (for what little it is worth) of 7d is first 5 words definition, first 3 letters given with the extra T as you suggest, with a 2 letter “remain” within (“committed to”) an archaic word for “colour” in Chambers.

I enjoyed this one. I always like it when omitted letters, extra letters or misprints are not all in the definition or the wordplay but can be in either as is the case here. It certainly keeps me on my mental toes/mental two left feet.
