I notice that nobody has had the basic courtesy to apologise for last week"s major HOWLER (no clue). DISGRACEFUL!!!!

There was an apology under the puzzle (under the name and address section)

Does anybody know why the length of each word is now being given for answers of more than 1 word?

I don't know but I have just answered a query from someone and it has disappeared.

Im quite stuck on the theme Stop!!
Is 41a a member of the Schumann family?

Sorry John, my answer disappeared. The first 4 letters was a Schumann, but the theme is indicated by the title Stop (musically)

sorry, first 5 letters. Instrument of a kind has this if this helps
