Thanks to the entrants on this summer weekend (final day of World Athletics Ch), relatively few clues but high quality as always. One vote (bigblind) uncast, but let's wrap it up.

Gold goes to mattrom@21, 7 votes for the intricate Just like the British, warding off cold with a small hot water bottle?

Three-way tie on 5 votes between paul@7, buddy@10 and fiery@14.

Paul gets silver based on total of 11 votes for 3 clues, with his Fruit found at a Majorcan beach party

No tie-break for bronze, co-medalists buddy with North Carolina town has difficulty pursuing corrupt cabal and fiery with A workplace keeps Johnny around, perhaps for instrumentation.

Congratulations to the winners! I had a Jimmy Durante clip bookmarked, but buddy@5 got there first. I expected a lot of music clues, so heavy on music clips.

Clash (spike's was excellent): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bJ9r8LMU9bQ
Nerdy material (string theory, discussion of Calabi-Yau manifolds @4:07):

And for add'l bonus (or punishment): 2 classical music clips.
