I'd be grateful for an explanation of the word play for the following clue:

Not to mention boundaries for golfing gear (4,5)

I have ?L?S ?O?R? and assume the answer to be PLUS FOURS (golfing gear), but unable to see complete word play.

Not to mention = Plus (not to mention we had champagne as well as wine, we had champagne plus wine)
Fours, boundaries, in cricket.
