The endgame is still bugging me. I've got the six-letter piece of evidence, but no idea which down entries to alter. Any hints?

Thanks Quisling. I've now found the perpetrator (a bit tricksy) and the other 10 cells (which I actually spotted first).

The perp. is stepped either side of the line.

Before I embark on the endgame can I get a parse for ..

I can see how the last four letters come from "seven adopting the right" but can't see the wordplay for the first four letters or, if the first comes from "source of dough", the 2nd, 3rd and 4th.
