1. Eastern wise man mixes with quiet and direction

2. Breed of dog without head follows C I hear

3. Soil improver without tail add knocks completely reversed

Assuming the answers are birds ...

1 - MAGPIE -

Wise men = MAGI reversed/eastern + P (quiet) and E(ast) (direction)

3 - might be SPARROW

Soil improver without tail = WOR(m)? + knocks = RAPS all reversed

2. Sea Eagle, sounds like c + (b)eagle
3.Sparrow [wor(m) + raps] reversed

2 might be seagull. Bad homophone of C + (b)eagle 🤣
