Just thought I'd celebrate the return of the forum by posting my observations on Saturday's prize by Philistine.

If there was going to be a Saturday prize with no forum this was going to be it. Possibly the easiest one in a long time. Perhaps Philistine thought we needed an easy rise after two days off. It felt more like an Everyman to me. But enjoyable all the same. A few words 4a and 14d I had to Google.

Think 1d would be COD.
FOI 1a which sort of says it all.
