The puzzle is already available on The Specator's website.

I am struggling to find the connections between two of the three triplets and the theme word. For example how do 1 across and 19 down work? One of the three triplets should be obvious.

(19d is clued) 1a, 5d and 41a have the same 4 letter word added on the end.

Drxx, did you mean 43 or 44 across? Does the word you are referring to start with Y?

sorry jeg - I meant 44a.
