Spike2@8 made me laugh once I understood.

Could have voted for loads of clues.

So many great clues. I really liked Buddy's subtractive anagram @10, and useby's use of the obscure definition @21, and they might have got my vote on any other day, but I have to go with geeker @20 for obvious reasons.

Just off bowling. Just wanted to say to Geeker, I remember a 3 hour statistics lecture in 1965 from an Australian who ate raw carrots throughout the lecture as he derived the Law of the Iterated Logarithm from first principles. Aaah memories!

So much Maths both actual and literal on display today!
Many clues got a single vote but a winners funnel emerged.
