Yes, I HAVE put the German word in already at 37 Across, as you said. So. I got to thinking "ELF" for 19 Across, which is German for "eleven". So, the Passover word remains elusive, though you think you now have this?

Looking again I see my mistake. 50 down is a non-thematic clue which just happens to include a well-sited thematic abbreviation. However if 78 is a double definition and refers to a party down under I cannot find this in Chambers. Any thoughts?

Hello Williamseal - I put this answer in some time ago, but decided to look for this Australian party, and looking at the Australian Slang Dictionary, I can't find this either. More head scratching!

It is in Collins, as "Australian informal", but I'm in Au and it's not familiar to me.
