congrats to mattrom and thanks to jono for an interesting challenge and the clips....mazuma was a new one for me £$€...we used 'shrapnel' for loose change when growing up. Thanks also to all who gave me votes - much appreciated.
Thanks Jono, congratulations to Mattrom
Having seen some of the recent entries, we can now get our scatological imperative working. Excellent clueing.
Enjoy the rest of your weekend, I can now go and worm the dog - whether she wants it or not.
Buddy, I liked your #14 for it’s construction and &lit-ishness. Not sure what you call these, but they’re twist on a subtractive anagram where (A + B)* = C ; as opposed to the usual (C - B)* = A
(where A is the answer)
I suppose you could call it an additive anagram; they appear regularly in Azed (and others) and although they never seem to get many votes here I will continue to submit them because I enjoy them- which is ultimately what it's all about, I think!
Well done Mattrom - another diamond!🔶 Appreciate the votes and thanks for a good challenge Jono - not the easiest word to clue I found.
Spike - you`ll be hearing from my legal team as soon as they wrap up the Johnny Depp case!
