I think the mis-spelling may be deliberate- 29A and 17A are an infamous duo from the pages of "Viz".

Newby here. Where the hell do you start with these Viz crosswords? Is the Profanisaurus any help? My brain doesn’t understand the clues. Any advice please.

Big Viz fan, have been for many years. But just cannot do these! How do you get the answers? Are they meant to be difficult or am I thick? Are the answers in the Profanisaurus? Any guidance really appreciated.

They're conventional clues in terms of wordplay and definition - and often very good ones at that - but with a very unconventional source material indeed.

Only a smattering of the answers would be in Chambers - the best online source is probably Urban Dictionary. If you're stuck on a few, it's probably to your credit, TBH.
