pleased to make your acquaintance aristophanes....and welcome to the challenge.

can you please help with the parsing? I think it's GE(n)T = nameless guy, and D OF(f) = unfinished shed....but I'm struggling with the WIN part....

thank in advance

Culmer, I believe lock up = win. It's a slang term for secure a victory.

9 contributors submitted 22 entries and there are some corkers - it's not an easy task to split them.

There were lots of clever anagrams and very creative indicators, including; jono #9, fieryjack #13, tyke51 #15, paul #16 and geeker's #19. I liked the construction of mattrom's #8, buddy's #3 and aristophanes #23 (thanks mprs for help with the parse).

Short list came down to; mattrom's smart subtraction #21, jono's succinct (&lit?) #10 and, by a squeak, the excellent container #20, submitted by the newly-transitioned darla, is chosen as this week's best in show. Congratulations!

Apollo or Artemis perhaps stopped god of learning (3,4,2)

Please accept the following short, wind-related clips as spoils.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pj-NqWDH2qE a very creative use of wind

and a soulful rendition of a classic https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2p2DDzgCnmc

Enjoy.

Congrats Darla, great clue, would have been my choice also. Talking of twins, did you spot that 571 is ‘twin prime’? 😉
Thanks for a tough challenge Culmer and the mentions, much appreciated

Well done Mprs - got the clue once I realised it was for `GOT WIND OF` !

Thanks Culmer - not an easy one! Enjoyed the clips - something weird about the wind-powered sculptures - the dog was keeping a respectful distance!
