Cracking puzzle pitched at my level - difficult but not mind-bending. I am familiar with the theme, but was surprised that I hadn't known the first forename of the person generated by the extra down letters!

Totally agree BC. Thoroughly enjoyed it and have to admire the construction. Some recent Inquisitors have been top notch. 👍

I completely forgot to make use of the extra letters in the down clues. They would have helped me with the parsing of a couple.
