Lovely Araucaria alphabet today. Slightly more difficult than usual, because there's not a lot of difference in word lengths. Highly satisfying

Hello Don - haven't seen your name for a long time - hope you're well. This was a good Araucaria, I thought, and no, I haven't composed one - don't think I could.

Graham, if you've got it the right way - you will know!!

Graham - as the instructions state, "two sides of the completed perimeter will show you if you have it as intended."

Donf932 - I had the same problem as you with 'solstice'; although I couldn't follow the clue I thought this had to be the 'S' word - but what a brilliant clue that is & a superb 'Araubetical' overall. He's still the best!!

Thank you AJT & JS. I've clearly got it the wrong way.

With all the praise for the S clue I'm wondering if I've got it right as I thought it was straightforward.
SHORTEST - sounds like (to the ear) Sure test
